Inés del alma mía wins the Audience Award at the Luchon Festival

‘Inés del alma mía’ was awarded the Audience Award for the best Spanish series at the prestigious Luchon Television Festival, which held its 23rd online edition this past week due to the coronavirus pandemic.

‘Inés del alma mía’, starring Elena Rivera and Eduardo Noriega, premiered in October in La 1. It is the adaptation of Isabel Allende’s successful novel of the same name, translated into more than 30 languages, turned into an ambitious international co-production from RTVE, Boomerang TV and Chilevisión.

It tells the story of Inés Suárez, a young and daring woman from Extremadura who sets sail for the New World in search of her husband. In the Indies you will discover the love of your life, the famous Spanish conqueror Pedro de Valdivia.

 

Luchon Festival

The Luchon Television Festival, created in 1999, takes place every year in Bagnères-de-Luchon and features unitary fictions, series, miniseries, documentaries, short programs, web series, web documentaries and digital series.
